I purchased this house in 2004 and after a tornado hit Joliet I began my restoration efforts. The goal is to return this 1885 Victorian cottage – originally built and owned by a local carpenter that worked on many of the homes in the area – to a style and state that reflects its humble, hardworking heritage.
